Christoph Klein, MD PhD
Christoph Klein is Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics and physician-in-chief at the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital, Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. His team has identified numerous novel diseases, elucidated pathomechanisms, and developed new gene and cell-based therapies for rare immune diseases. Inspired by his patients, he created Care-for-Rare to help children with rare diseases worldwide, regardless of what country they live in or the financial resources of their families.

Scott B. Snapper, MD PhD
Scott Snapper is Chairman of the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He has a long-standing interest in inflammatory bowel diseases and created the Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease network, a global alliance of physicians and scientists.

Thomas Jaschke holds a degree in economical sciences and has served as executive manager in the media industry in Europe and the United States. A true philanthropist, he serves Care-for-Rare’s mission by contributing his financial and management expertise.
