How You Can Help

Help save a Ukrainian child’s life: Donate.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is having a devastating impact on children with life-threatening rare diseases, some of whom are at risk of not receiving the care they need.

The international Care-for-Rare Foundation sees it as its duty to show solidarity and actively help.  Many families are currently fleeing to Poland with their seriously ill children, risking their lives in the hope of medical care.  The children’s hospital in Lodz, Poland, is part of the global Care-for-Rare Alliance and has been commissioned by the Polish government to orchestrate the care of seriously ill refugee children.  Together with the European Children’s Hospitals Organisation (ECHO), Care-for-Rare will provide funds for these children and their families — and other families like them around the globe — in great need.
